Members are informed that this year’s Annual General Meeting of Members of Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Inc. will be held in the Southern Waters Room on Saturday, 13 July 2024 commencing at 4.00pm.  The Notice of Meeting (together with supporting papers) and a Proxy Form can be viewed below. 

I am pleased to advise that Richard Backwell will automatically be re-elected as Club Captain for another two years, and the three vacant Executive Committee positions will be taken up by Megan Bolton, Andy McIntyre (both by automatic re-election) and Felicia Brown, who will be joining the EC for the first time.

There are a number of important matters to be considered at the AGM and you are encouraged to read the proposals and supporting documentation carefully.  Given the breadth of the matters to be considered, and in an effort to respond to questions in as fulsome a manner as possible, Members are strongly encouraged to submit any questions they may wish to ask at the meeting to me at secretary@bys.asn.au by Thursday, 11 July 2024. 

If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may appoint a proxy using the Proxy Form.  If you simply wish to send an apology, please do so to Kate Poole at membership@bys.asn.au.
