On Wednesday 12 January our Junior Club Captains Lucas and Gemma hosted a fantastic day for 38 junior members. Aboard eight ribs the crews set off on a cruising adventure along the coast towards the Quarantine Station, then across to Queenscliff and on to Portsea beach via Pope’s Eye for lunch and beach cricket. It was a great opportunity to make new friends, while learning about the amazing natural and built heritage of the southern end of Port Phillip. Our local wildlife was on full show with dolphins, seals and seabirds paying us a visit!
