Dianne Fix
We’d like to introduce you to our final feature artist Dianne Fix who is a bayside artist who has had an interest in art for 50 years. Her experience over many years includes the study of painting and drawing using various mediums including oil, acrylic and pencil. Over the last 35 years, she has studied under John Lawry to develop all forms of painting including Trompe L’oeil. A combination of real and abstract work, she enjoys most forms of painting – especially still life and French-themed paintings. We look forward to presenting her work over the Easter weekend.
Good Friday Viewing Sessions
Our open night function traditionally held on Good Friday will continue in the revised format of hourly viewing sessions during the day. Members will have the opportunity to view and purchase works by appointment only between 12 noon and 6 pm on Good Friday. Each member will receive an invitation of how to purchase tickets to attend a viewing session on Thursday. Ticket sales will commence this Friday 11 March at 9 am.
Volunteers Needed
The Art Show Committee is looking for volunteers to help greet Art Show visitors for 3 hour shifts throughout the Show over Easter (15 – 18 April). We are also looking for a volunteer to put our advertising bikes out in the community.
