Do you have a passion for sailing and enjoy helping others develop their skills and confidence on the water?
Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron is seeking enthusiastic and professional Sailing Instructors and Coaches to join our casual instruction team for the 2026-27 summer season. As one of Victoria’s leading Discover Sailing Centres, we deliver a wide range of high-quality training and coaching programs for sailors of all ages and abilities.
Roles Available
We’re recruiting:
- Assistant Dinghy Instructors
- Dinghy Instructors
- Keelboat Instructors
- Windsurfing / Board Instructors
- Powerboat Instructors
- Sailing Coaches
What We’re Looking For
Successful applicants should hold, or be working towards:
- The appropriate Australian Sailing Instructor or Coach accreditation for their discipline
- A current Victorian Recreational Marine Licence
- A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or higher)
- A Marine Radio Operator’s Certificate
- A current Employee Working with Children Check
- Applicants should have a strong sailing and racing background.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who are still working towards their Australian Sailing accreditation, provided it will be completed before the summer season begins.
