BLAIRGOWRIE YACHT SQUADRON

Welcome to the Blairgowrie Marina

Nestled in the picturesque and historic Cameron’s Bight, one of Victoria’s earliest settlements, the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Marina offers prime access to the myriad attractions of the Mornington Peninsula. Just a scenic hour and a half drive south of Melbourne, the Marina faces north on Port Phillip Bay, benefiting from the ideal offshore winds perfect for summer Bay Sailing. Situated just east of Sorrento, it’s the perfect launch point for recreational sailors to explore Port Phillip Bay, the famed cliffs of Portsea, historic Quarantine Station, The Heads, and Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula. Additionally, the surf beaches of Bass Strait are nearby, and Blairgowrie’s vibrant seaside village is just a short stroll away.

Choosing to berth at BYS Marina means convenient boat access, more time on the water, and enhanced social opportunities. Our Marina and Clubhouse offer a ‘full lifestyle’ experience for Members and Guests, encompassing every type of boating activity, from competitive Yacht Racing of various classes to Cruising, Fishing, Marine Rescue, and training programs. This diverse range of activities has established us as a premier ‘on water’ destination for Victoria’s boating enthusiasts.
