The 68th Season is upon us and we have a Festival of an Opening Day!
Bring the family down to enjoy a wonderful day of celebrating the next Summer season, lots of upcoming Regattas, social activites and most importantly – Family, Friendship, Sailing.
As voted by you on Facebook and Instagram, the theme is Mermaids & Pirates. Dress up to match the theme if you please, prizes will be given on the day.

Opening Day Program
11:30am The Beach' opens for kids activities. There will be a jumping castle, face painting
and plaster painting.
12:00pm Guests arrive for Opening Ceremony at the BYS Rock
12:15pm Opening Ceremony begins
Salute, national anthem, speeches
12:45pm Season declared open
12:45pm Live music begins on the deck
Sail Past briefing at the BYS Rock
1:00pm VIP's to board the Flagship boats on the pier
Members taking part in the Sail Past to board their own boats
1:00pm Complimentary food stalls open on the deck - Spud Bar, Salad Bar & BBQ
1:15pm Boats depart from the dock
1:30pm Official Sail Past
2:30pm Opening Day Race
4:00pm Kids activities conclude
4:30pm Race winner announcements
