On Saturday 3 December, on the BYS deck, members Liam Batty and Patrick Singh, took part in the World’s Greatest Shave in support of the Leukemia Foundation. The weather proved exceptional (for the shave as opposed to sailing) and quite a crowd gathered in anticipation. Member Mitch Harding played ad hoc MC (and barber) for the event, encouraging folks to contribute that little extra in support of a deserving cause.
The boys managed to raise over $7K – with BYS members and staff showing their generosity. The donation link is still open until Saturday – so if you would like to add your donation, please do!
