Last Saturday night saw over 140 members and guests celebrate the 2018/2019 Season at Presentation Night in the Southern Waters Room. Although everyone in the room was a winner, some of the highlights included Bo Derek winning the Doyle Sails Aggregate (AMS) and taking out the Club Champion trophy (AMS). Sam Backwell won the Brown Award for Junior Sailor of the year. Sam and Ellie Cowell each received a framed Burgee for their National Title wins.
Thanks to Rob and the kitchen staff for great food. Thanks to David and the bar staff. Finally a big thank you to Phil Beattie for organising the trophies and for photography on the night.
If you won a trophy and did not attend Presentation Night you can collect it from the Sailing Office. A list of trophy winners will be published in Southern Sails and on the website shortly. See you all at the Club soon!
