Upcoming Regattas

Women’s Sportsboat Regatta, 19 & 20 November

Sailing Journeys Dinner, Sat 19 November
Our Women’s Sportboat regatta is less than a fortnight away. At this stage, we look forward to welcoming ten teams from around the bay and NSW for our inaugural regatta. There is still room for two more teams to enter, please take a look at the regatta page for the racing schedule and entry requirements.  Competitors will be sailing a sprint series style event, rotating on and off boats with racing taking place just off the break wall. Members not already sailing over the weekend are encouraged to come down and watch what will be a real spectacle. The Eastern end of the handstand will be transformed into a regatta hub for the weekend for crews on break, head out and meet our competitors and give them your encouragement.

Tickets are on sale for the Sailing Journey’s dinner on Saturday night. All members are invited to join emcee Jenni Maclean and guest panellist’s Olympian, Karyn Grojnich, QCYC Commodore, Lee Renfree and AS Squad member, Laura Harding for an inspiring evening. Enjoy a complimentary gin cocktail, followed by a 2-course meal. Purchase your tickets now.

Our women’s regatta has been generously supported by our sponsors: Fever-Tree, Bass and Flinders, Gordon Studio Glassblowers Red Hill, She Sails, Kollab, Archie’s and Sunbutter.
