On Saturday, January 20th, BYS came alive into a sea of pink, transforming the club with vibrant decorations, pink prizes, and a sea of pink-clad members and staff – some adorned from head to toe.
Our wonderful BYS Club member, Vicki Stammers bought the day together. Vicki is the proud owner of Coast and Country Getaways, our generous sponsor of the day. Vicki organised all of the raffle prizes, race prizes and donated the pink caps for our skippers and crews.
Our thanks to the generous supporters:

A heartfelt thank you is also extended to Viki and Dom from Sorrento Collective for their assistance on the day and donation of prizes, as well as Club members Marilyn Cunnington and Geoff Warner for their efforts in selling raffle tickets.
We are proud to announce that the fundraising tally on the day was $2658 and a very generous member topped it up to $3000 in total!
The proceeds from our annual Pink Day will be donated to the Mornington Peninsula Wig Library. This wonderful initiative, run entirely by volunteers, supports women on the Mornington Peninsula undergoing chemotherapy and experiencing hair loss. We were delighted to host 12 of their dedicated volunteers for lunch on this special day.
Once again, our sincere appreciation goes to Vicki Stammers and Coast and Country Getaways for their invaluable contributions to make Pink Day a success.
Best best-dressed winner was Pending (Alistar Singh) skippered by Harriette Singh. Results available here.
