On Thursday 8 August, two BYS youth members, Hannah Danks and Ethan O’Brien, will be flying to Qingdao, China to represent the University of Melbourne in the annual International Top University Regatta.
This regatta is held at the venue that hosted the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games sailing events, and welcomes some of the best universities from all around the world. As the regatta will be conducted in J80 sports boats, the team came down to BYS two weekends ago to train in the club J70 and prepare for their upcoming event. We wish the team the best of luck, and look forward to hearing about their experience upon return.
