Australian Sailing Hall of Fame Inductees

The Australian Sailing Hall of Fame’s  aim is to acknowledge exceptional performance and contribution by an individual or team to the sport of sailing at an international and/or national level. The Hall of Fame acknowledges those who have made a major impact in the sport, both today and in the past and includes all forms of sailing. Australian Sailing’s hope is that the ASHoF program will promote recognition of the role of the sport in Australia’s history and community life and encourage the development of the sport in Australia.

Congratulations to Tom King OAM and Mark Turnbull OAM who, along with Jessica Watson OAM and Mat Belcher OAM were inducted into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame at the National Australian Sailing Awards.

Mark joined BYS last year and many of our youth sailors know Mark thanks to the Sailing Champions League.

Congratulations Mark!
